How do you share christ in a completely Islamic environment?

Sharia law rules in the Islamic north of Nigeria. Christians often experience disadvantages in everyday life. In addition, radical Islamic terrorist groups such as Boko Haram are attacking villages. Open missionary work is hardly possible here. It is similarly threatening for Christians in the Muslim north of Kenya. The north of Ghana is also completely Muslim, though the security situation is significantly better. Despite all the difficulties, Call of Hope will not give up sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Muslims in northern Nigeria, northern Kenya and northern Ghana, and it’s all possible because of the help from our Farmer Evangelists.

Agricultural specialists as missionaries

Many of our Farmer Evangelists are themselves former Muslims who now believe in Jesus. Through Call of Hope, they receive training in advanced agricultural methods. They are also provided with high-quality seeds. They are then sent to a completely Islamic village in the north of Nigeria or Ghana and live here as small farmers. In particular, they establish contacts and friendships with the local Muslim population and point them to Jesus Christ. In northern Kenya, more than a thousand farmers support our mission work. Thanks to the Farmer Evangelists of Call of Hope, many small village communities have already been created.
