Sewing Schools

The love of God for Muslim women and girls

Call of Hope has also created a vocational training program specifically for underprivileged women living in poverty. Women who once had very little hope are now empowered with the knowledge and skill set to operate their own business. For example, a microenterprise program has been established that trains women in tailoring skills which allows them to go on and operate successful businesses. Sewing machines are supplied and practical business principles are taught so they can operate a portable business, and even employ others!

The seamstresses hear about Jesus Christ

The weekly sewing lessons take place over a period of several months. The meetings offer a good opportunity to share Bible stories, Christian songs and the message of Jesus with the participating women and girls. In this way, many young Muslim women have found faith in Jesus Christ.
