Excited for BAAAck to school?

So are the families receiving Goats!

“This year, my entire family has been tremendously blessed by our goats. When Call of Hope came to our village, we were very curious about why they would give us goats. They shared the love of Jesus with us and explained that their generosity was motivated by His love. Many children and families, including ours, came to believe in Jesus as our Savior!”

These powerful words from Abina, a young woman in Ghana, show the tremendous impact of The Goat Project! As we prepare for the back-to-school season here in America, we are reminded of the incredible opportunities education provides for our children.

However, in many parts of the world, children face significant obstacles to attending school. In some areas, Christian children have been forced out of Muslim schools. In other impoverished areas, there is simply no money to pay for school fees, and children often work to help the family.

This was the situation for Abina, who simply couldn’t afford to pay for the books and other necessities to send her daughter to school. Today we see a strikingly different reality!

“During the lean period in June and July, when we had run out of food, we sold one of our goats to buy a 100 kg bag of maize, which sustained us until the harvest. Then, in September, my daughter was admitted to school, and we were able to pay her school fees by selling two young goats. We are very thankful to Call of Hope for The Goat Project. It has helped us greatly, but most importantly, it helped us discover the love and salvation of Jesus!”

As we prepare to send our own children back to school this year, let’s extend that same hope and opportunity to children in Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. Your support of the Goat Project can make a tangible difference in their lives, providing them with the means to continue their education and to be discipled in the love of Jesus.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Together, we can make a difference in the coming generations!
